About Mountain Bird Cleaning
Family-owned. Community-rooted. Service-driven since 2011.
Who We Are Spotless Excellence
Mountain Bird Cleaning is a family-owned and operated company rooted in the Roaring Fork Valley since 2011. What began as a one-woman vision has grown into a trusted cleaning partner for homes, property managers, and businesses across the Roaring Fork Valley, Grand Junction and its surrounding communities, and now Boulder and nearby areas.
Our approach is grounded in strong values— integrity, honesty, reliability, and community. We believe cleaning is more than dusting surfaces or scrubbing floors; it’s about enhancing quality of life, improving functionality, and creating spaces that feel welcoming, safe, and cared for. Every home and business we serve becomes an extension of our community, and we take that responsibility to heart.
Mountain Bird Cleaning was founded by Laura Morales, who started her journey as an independent housekeeper known for her exceptional service, warm attitude, and swift, precise work—so much so that clients recommended her before she ever asked. As her schedule filled, Laura began hiring help to meet demand, and “Mountain Bird” became the name that reflected both her speed and her deep connection to the mountains she called home.
In 2021, Laura’s daughter Ilse made the decision to join the family business—not because it was planned, but because the moment called for it. At the time, Ilse was working in the nonprofit sector when the COVID-19 pandemic hit and deeply affected her mother’s business. What began as a difficult and uncertain season quickly turned into a turning point. Together, Laura and Ilse came together, strategized, and shifted Mountain Bird Cleaning from primarily home cleaning to helping local businesses keep their doors open through safe, sanitized, and reliable cleaning services. What started as a response to crisis became a new chapter of service. By supporting other small businesses through their own challenges, Mountain Bird naturally expanded into commercial cleaning and grew stronger than before — not just as a business, but as a mother-daughter team committed to community, resilience, and purpose.
“Cleanliness is not just about the absence of dirt, but the presence of serenity.”
At Mountain Bird Cleaning, we believe that a well-cared-for space does more than look good — it supports well-being, clarity, and daily functionality. In fact, 86% of office employees say cleanliness is the most important factor in a positive work environment, and numerous studies show that clean, organized spaces improve focus, reduce absenteeism, and boost productivity. For us, these aren’t just numbers — they reaffirm what we see every day: when a space is truly clean, people move through life and work with more ease, confidence, and peace of mind.
